 To cut  the long story short, below is How To Add Related Posts to the New Blogger Themes😉

How To Add Related Posts Widget To Emporio, Soho and Other New Blogger Themes


Step 1:  Login to your blog dashboard, Click on Template > HTML. Now press then Ctrl+F on your keyboard to search for </head>

Step 2: Copy the below JAVASCRIPT CODE

 And paste it directly before the closing </head> section of your template HTML (see picture below)



Step 3: To display the Related Posts widget; Simply Copy Below Script for the Related Post Widget to your Notepad

Step 4: Then Ctrl+F <data:post.body/> and paste the code from the Notepad directly below it! (as shown in picture below)



Step 5: Now click on Save changes and view one of your post to see it working!

  3. Since I'm not the geeky type I prefer to use external third party widgets because most of them are really easy to install. I don't find editing Blogspot themes to be all that simple. Your instructions are good for those who can.

    1. You mean those third party widgets where it's just one-click installation like Linkwithin? They're pretty cool too!

      But the advantages of the HTML editing is they're flexible and you get to easily design them to your taste ;)

      Non-Geeky type can still use the third party widgets and enjoy them though

    2. Nothing is confusing at all, it just didn't work, if you check the website, you'll see, only the widget title shows but not the related content, so I'm not doing anything wrong.
