Mapping custom domains simply means redirecting an existing custom domain to another custom domain.
This mapping of a thing is useful for those who have an existing domain and wanted to change it WITHOUT losing their visitors.
For example: You own ''example1.com'' in which a lot of users already knew and you wanted to change it to a new domain which is ''example2.com''
Normally after pointing the NEW domain which is 'example2.com'' to your subdomain, whenever your readers that doesn't know you have changed type 'example1.com', it will be displaying Error to them which is definitely going to make you lose traffic!
