Few days ago, one of my twitter follower account was hacked in which the twitter handler and name was changed by the hacker. Noticing this sudden incidence, i made a research and decide to post a tutorial on how to retrieve hacked twitter account.

Do you think you’ve been hacked or you’re unable to log in with your username and password. don’t panic, TRY either of the following 2 Options:

Option 1. Request a password reset.
Step 1: Reset your password by requesting an via the forgot password link on the login page.
Step 2: Try entering your username and email address.
Step 3: check for the reset link at the email address associated with your Twitter account.

If you are still unable to log in, follow Option 2 below:
Step 1: Contact the support centre by submitting a form at Contact Support
Step 2: Choose “Hacked account” from the list of options.
